Then Is Now Podcast Episode 33 – D&D Crossover with Lions of Legend Podcast

One of the fun things in our pop culture that has not only NOT disappeared from our collective consciousness, but has also experienced a resurgence due to the stay at home orders of 2020 is RPGs, or Role Playing Games.

The famous table top games as we know them today were first created by Gary Gygax in the early 1970s with his still insanely popular Role Playing Game, Dungeons and Dragons! The amount of games are too numerous to list, but some of the ones we discuss are Traveler, Werewolf the Apocalypse and Call of Cthulhu, just to name a few.

This episode is Then Is Now Podcast’s first crossover with another show called Lions of Legend, in which Matt Powell and Daniel Crowther (along with some friends) actually play D&D on the show, introducing a whole new generation to the joys of RPGs! Joining us also is frequent guest co-host, Spency Domepiece and the four of us have a hilarious and fun conversation discussing Role Playing Games in depth!
