Sailing the High Skies: A Boston Comic Con Interview with Everett & Susan Soares

Interview & Written by Shaun Daniels and Photos & Edited by Sharon Wong with Audio Editing by Stephen Laskey of Laskey Productions

Walking, or more like playing Frogger, through Boston Comic Con‘s crowded-like-it-was-rush-hour artist alley, we bumped elbows with the crew of Jolly Rogers Studios, the people behind Sky Pirates of Valendor.  If they and their book sound at all familiar, it may be because they’ve attended enough conventions of the comic sort and the like over the past two years or you have heard them on various podcasts across the interwebs.  We had the pleasure to talk to the ever busy Everett and Susan Soares about their fantasy comic, who gave us the skinny on the book and where to find it if your shop doesn’t stock it.  Sit back as we set sail on the skies of Valendor and listen to a couple of local (at least to us) comic book creators.  To stay up on the goings on of Jolly Roger Studios and the Sky Pirates of Valendor, check out their blog.
