The eleventh Doctor and friends just finished up its record-breaking seven episode run of the current season in June on BBC America and are prepping for the rest of the season which was, for the first time, partially filmed in the U.S. (Utah). With six episodes left, the September premiere of the second half will air for only two months before the part two DVD/Blu-ray release in November. Synopsis: The Doctor (Smith), Amy (Gillan) and Rory (Darvill) find themselves in Sixties America, battling the invasion the world forgot, then journey on the high seas of 1696 aboard a pirate ship, to solve the mystery of the Siren.
