It’s finally here, the 100th episode of Then Is Now Podcast!! It’s time to wind up the Dr. Phibes Clockwork Wizards again! On July 5th, 1972 “Dr. Phibes Rises Again!,” the sequel to the Abominable Dr Phibes, was released in the U.S. It was not only directed once again by Robert Fuest, but the incomparable Vincent Price reprised his role as the sinister anti-hero, Dr. Anton Phibes!
Joining me for this 50th and 100th celebration are Damon and William Goldstein, who are no strangers to the show! William, of course, wrote the first Phibes film and they are currently getting a third film off the ground! William has also novelized both films and written several Phibes novels a mix of sequels and prequels to the first film! We not only discuss the sequel film, but also their Dr. Phibes Facebook pages to celebrate The 50th Anniversary of “Dr. Phibes Rises Again!”
