Please Pass Me a Tissue…A Boston Comic Con Interview with Jill Thompson

Interview & Written by Shaun Daniels and Photos & Edited by Sharon Wong with Audio Editing by Stephen Laskey of Laskey Productions

One of the highlights of the 2012 Boston Comic Con weekend was the opportunity to interview writer and artist Jill Thompson.  Known for her work on Neil Gaiman’s Sandman and Beasts of Burden with Evan Dorkin, Jill is one of the best artists in the comic book industry.  We talked with her about the JilliJill app featuring Scary Godmother, Jill’s book and comic series for children.  She also gave us an in-depth, heartfelt behind the scene look at Beasts of Burden from Dark Horse Comics.  Jill was both a pleasure to speak with and very gracious with her busy sketching time (the interview clocks in at just over 20 minutes), so be sure to click the link below to listen to our interview with Jill Thompson, who can be followed on Twitter @thejillthompson.
